| Black Cat Fundraiser, An Evening of Rock Musical Theatre - June 18th, 2006 |

Writer Shawn Northrip and director Shirley Serotsky, the minds behind Source’s Titus, the musical and McBeth’s McTragic McMusical, and the Madcap Players’ Cautionary Tales for Adults, along with business manager Caehlin Bell, presented an evening of rock musical theatre as a fundraiser for their newly formed Bouncing Ball Theatrical Productions.

The event featured scenes from three of Serotsky and Northrip’s collaborations: Titus, the musical, a punk rock adaptation of Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus that opened the Source’s last season; Cautionary Tales for Adults, a musical picture book in which adults suffer painful deaths for behaving responsibly; and Lunch, a musical about love in the eighth grade. Following the scenes was a live performance by Lemonface, DC’s youngest rock band and the musical inspiration for Lunch.

Performers included:
Jacob Jackovich, Nathan Bonfiglio, Casie Platt, R.L. Mirabal, Michael John Casey, Cesar Guadamuz, and Lemonface (Richard Wynne, Brendan McCusker, Dana Wilentz)
