Charlie Fink presents the world premiere of Power House, a new techno-rave musical, at Source Theatre as a part of the third annual Capital Fringe Festival, from July 17th to 25th at various times.

Power House: the Super-Ozone-Friendly-Happy-Disco-Energy Techno-Dance-Along Show is a science-fiction musical fable rave which casts the audience as dancers in a futuristic power plant where dance energy is converted into clean Discotech power. When someone stops dancing, the entire Power House is threatened, and the managers must act quickly to keep the lights on. Part theatre and part rave, Power House delivers an hour of techno beats, light show, glow sticks, and ring pops, all the while warning of the dangers of even the best of intentions.

Bouncing Ball Theatrical Productions formed in 2006 with the mission of developing new and unique musicals. BBTP's first production, Northrip's Lunch, was presented at both the first annual CapFringe Festival and the New York Musical Festival, which critics called "a sweet and charming trip back to the hell we all once lived through" (EDGE New York City) and "a rock musical that works" (DC Theatre Scene). Last summer, their follow-up show, also by Northrip, Cautionary Tales for Adults and the Many Adventures of Trixie Tickles was selected as the Audience Choice: Pick of the Fringe for Best Musical; DC Theatre Scene awarded the show 5 Fringes and wrote "exactly what it will take for Musical Theatre to appeal to the current crop of 20 - 30 year olds that do not often attend theatre."

Serotsky and Northrip are also the creative team behind DC's cult-success Titus, the musical, a punk rock musical that began at Source Theatre and now frequents the stage at the Black Cat. Serotsky's recent directing credits includes Crumble for Catalyst Theater Company, and was nominated for a Helen Hayes award for her direction of References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot.

The company features cast members Joe Pindelski, Mike Silver, Gwen Grastorf, Kevin O'Reilly, Kathryn Rheault, Dave Fink, Jennie Lutz, Betsy Rosen, Jeremy Skidmore, and designers David Ghatan, Erin Nugent, Elisheba Ittoop, and Brett Cramer.

All tickets for the CapFringe Festival are $15 and can be purchased online at www.capfringe.org, by telephone at 866-811-4111, or at the Fringe Box Office, 607 New York Ave., NW, WDC 20001
